Joaquín Gairín Sallán
Biography:
Teacher, labour relations specialist, psychologist, educationalist and doctor of education sciences. He is currently a professor of didactics and school organization. He has ample teaching and institutional experience, having been an educational centre director, dean of faculty, commissioner of the Education and Training Cluster, director of the UAB Institute of Education Sciences (ICE) and, currently, director of CRiEDO. An international consultant, he takes part in educational reform programmes in Spain and Latin America. Currently, he directs projects on social and educational development, care for vulnerable groups, organizational development, processes of educational change, leadership, assessment of programmes and institutions, ICT in training and impact assessment. He has been the general coordinator of the European projects ACCEDES, financed within the framework of the ALFA program, and IDEA. He is director of the Organizational Development Group (https://edo.uab.es) and of the Support Network for Educational Management (RedAGE: https://www.redage.org).
